Lowe’s Commercial Description

2012 commercial for Lowe’s home improvement, featuring “Lowe’s Creative Ideas Magazine” for the iPad. It starts out with a cute brunette woman walking into her house. All of the walls and floors are covered in white paper. She uses a black magic marker to draw out ideas onto the papered walls, and then the ideas become reality. For example, she draws curtains, and a window with curtains appear. Her boyfriend/husband draws a doggy door on the back door, and a dog walks in and sits with them on the couch.

Update:

I’ve gotten a lot of questions asking: Who is the actress in the Lowes commercial? Her name is Kristin Malko. You may recognize her from the tv show Prison Break. She played the part of Debra Jean Belle.

I think it’s Paul McCartney in disguise. He used to record under assumed names. His voice is very recognizable to those who have loved him for 40+ years!

You may have something here – it is as simple as searching “oxford Paul McCartney” to see Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and a bunch more ties between the two?

Ferraby Lionheart is one of LA’s best kept secrets, a singer-songwriter supreme that writes effortlessly catchy songs and regularly fills clubs on LA’s hipper east side. Originally from Nashville, Lionheart’s roots upbringing can be heard in his music, but he so gracefully jumps between genres that simple classification can’t nail it down – there’s something there to like for fans of Wilco, Little Joy, Jon Brion (who has produced Lionheart in the past) Edward Sharpe, Fitz & the Tantrums and of course Neil Young/Bob Dylan.

We think he’s about to gain a big reputation outside of our LA-enclave, and apparently the people at Lowe’s agree, as they have used the song “Naked Eye” which he recorded under the name Oxford in their new commercial, which you can see above.
