More About Artist & Song in Commercial
Mother Mother is a five piece indie rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. Their debut album was recorded with producer Howard Redekopp, who is associated with such groups as Tegan & Sara and The New Pornographers.
I pulled Mother Mother up on Rdio and listened to a couple of their albums, and quickly realized that the band’s sound is very different than the song used in the Kraft commercial. In fact, the song Bright Idea isn’t even on any of their studio albums, it was released as a single. I suspect because the song is so different than their typical catalog, that it didn’t really fit on an album. Below is a youtube video of the song.
