Commercial features a man carving a car out of clay, which by the end, becomes a real life Chevy Malibu. The song being played is a cover of Frank Sinatra's "Under My Skin".

Recently I was given the opportunity to do something cool and unusual via the help of a great company in NY. If you have a television, chances are you've seen this commercial. Its the one that features a man carving out of clay a giant car which by the end winds up being a real life Chevy Malibu. The song, as Im sure you could have guessed, is "Under My Skin", the classic Sinatra swing ballad.

I fell in love with this song when I heard Bono do the duet with Sinatra on the "Duets" album so I jumped at the chance to possible reinvent the song as my own - even it is was just for 30 seconds!

You can hear the commercial on almost any network, at least I think so. I dont actually own a television OR a car which makes the whole thing terribly ironic, but I've gotten numerous emails from people telling me theyve seen it everywhere from during the Grammy's to during episodes of Lost. So if you were wondering who it was - it's yours truly. (smiles sheepishly)
