Song In Commercial: Into The Wild

Citibank Commercial Description
2011 tv commercial for the Citibank “Thank You card” credit card. It shows a couple on a weekend getaway, a rock climbing getaway the woman is going to use her Citi points to buy items for the trip. She is talking about the rock climbing gear she bought for the trip, even though at first it sounds like she is talking about using her Citi card for stereotypical things. From what I’m told, the place she is rock climbing in the Citibank commercial is called Corkscrew Summit, in Utah.
As of the time of this post, this song is unavailable for purchase on iTunes. However it IS available for FREE at LP’s website.
Voiceover Says
My boyfriend and I had a big weekend planned. So I used my Citi Thank You card to pick up some accessories. A new belt, some nylons and what girl wouldn’t need new shoes. We talked about getting a diamond, but with all of the points I earned. I took him to the rock I really wanted.
Song Lyrics Used
Somebody left the gate open
Come save us a runaway train

I would like to know how this ad was made. It is spetacular and my curiosity is this for real or created in a studio?
Where was this commercial filmed? In Utah?
I have the same question as Duncan. How was this made? What was the real exposure and who were the actors/climbers who made it?
This was filmed in the Moab Utah area. The first part is shot over towards the Dead Horse Point area. I recognize the Shafer Trail down below on the flat ground below. The second area where she is standing on top of the pinnacle is at Fisher Towers (in the Castle Valley area near Moab). The pinnacle is known as Corkscrew Summit of Ancient Art.
I live in Castle Valley Utah so these places are very familiar to me. There are a number of times a year where we will hear helicopters flying around. We figure they are filming another commercial, move or TV show.
For those of you wondering about how this commercial was made, CNN recently did a story about it:
Is this footage free from computer-based graphic manipulation.
It makes me grab my chairarms every time she stands up!
I hope this has not been tweaked.
Please reassure me, someone.
Thanks
It’s cool footage isn’t it? I wondered the same thing that you did, but then I saw a story about it on CNN and apparently the whole thing is real. In the comment above yours, I posted the video.
