Commercial Description

2011 Buick LaCrosse commercial for their eAssist hybrid car begins with a man reading the paper in his bathrobe, sitting down yet moving his feet like he’s running in place. We see people doing that in the elevator in the next shot. Once they open the elevator, we see more people doing that in the lobby. We see people on the street doing that, then a man using his bbq in his backyard, and at the opera followed by a bride and groom trying to kiss at their wedding. Finally we see someone driving in their 2012 Buick LaCrosse car and see an interior shot of the car’s gauges showing the car turning off to preserve gas while stopped. Once the stoplight turns green, the Buick LaCrosse turns back on and resumes driving. The commercial song is a beautiful piano piece that I wish was available for sale.

Voiceover Says
You don’t keep running when you’re stopped. So why should your car’s engine? Technology shifts from gas to electric power, seamlessly. Another way Buick LaCrosse with eAssist can offer 36 miles per gallon. Learn more at Buick.com.
