Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial Description

Well now that got me a little misty eyed. 2013 Budweiser ad set at a horse farm. The farmer looks at the newborn horse. We see scenes of him raising the horse, bottle feeding it, playing with him, falling asleep in the horse stall, and the horse running along side of the man’s truck as he drives. Finally, the Budweiser Clydesdales truck comes by and he sends the horse to be one of the Budweiser horses.

We see the farmer sad and missing the horse. Finally 3 years later, there is an ad in the newspaper saying “Budweiser Clydesdales Coming to Chicago”. So the farmer makes the drive and see’s his beloved friend in the parade. As the sad farmer leaves, the horse runs down the street to greet him.

More About Song in Commercial

What a perfect song for this commercial. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac is about letting go of a love because life is changing, and we have to move along with life sometimes. The song can always tug at my heart strings, especially in this commercial.

Here is Fleetwood Mac doing a live performance of the song Landslide.

Song Lyrics In Ad

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
Well, I’ve been afraid of changing
’cause I’ve built my life around you

But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I’m getting older too

Oh, take my love, take it down
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
